Wednesday Wishlist - The Gap Sale

If I have learned anything this year it is never ever to pay full price for anything from Gap. If they don't have a sale on it means there is a 30% off voucher just around the corner. I missed the boat on this big time because yesterday they were offering an extra 25% off sale. Nonetheless there are still lots of bargains to be had. Here are some of my favourites...

Left to Right
A great Parka is such a staple and this is no exception (£36.99)
I love love this fuchsia/charcoal combo (£19.99)
Another staple everyone needs a chambray shirt (£20.99)
I get so much wear out of my navy crewneck (£19.99)
I love the subtle polka dots (£14.99)

Also loving...
These are cheaper in more garish colours, but the aubergine will go all through winter (£24.99)

I love the length, the sleeves, the neckline, shame this stripey dress isn't stretchy enough for a growing bump (£19.99)

This satchel is a steal for real suede, really soft and slouchy in real life (£29.99)

Have you bought anything from Gap lately?

  1. I ordered the cherry print blouson dress that I'd been lusting after but unfortunately it just didn't suit me :(

    1. Oh what a shame, I thought the dress looked very different in store than on the website though. Gap need to up their game pictures wise.

    2. Yes, I was really disappointed, it wasn't what I expected at all. The material was very shiny and it just didn't seem to sit right - not how it looked on the website at all. I tried it in 2 sizes as well but neither were flattering at all :( Shame, as I don't think I've ever returned anything to Gap before - it's normally spot on for me.

  2. I bought the green boyfriend cords but I eventually returned them in favour of some Jack Wills chinos. I'm still wondering if I made a mistake about returning them ... could always buy them again :o)

    1. Ooh I like the look of the Jack Wills. You are near York right, hope you're not flooded. I was fairly devastated when I saw the pictures of the high street on the news, all those shops.....

    2. No, I'm not flooded but I passed the River Ouse yesterday and it was up as high as the branches on the trees. I was gobsmacked. And I went past another place about 5 miles down the road and the waterlogged field had turned into a lake. I'm quite lucky - when we bought our current house, they built it above the floodplain. Phew.

  3. Loving those aubergine jeans - stop tempting me with these fab offers!! Loved this post - I find the gap site really boring to navigate so it's great when someone stylish like you picks out the good buys for me! Thank you Lucy, Avril x

    1. Oh please get the skinnies, would look great with your ankle boots. I am a trouser free zone at the moment, need to live vicariously through somebody.

  4. I had my eye on a couple of items but they're sold out in my size. Argh! Tried to make the hub go to the store but apparently the discount only applies to the online store.

    1. Do you know what I picked up the pink and grey jumper in store for £15 today, so think they have just applied the discount all over might be worth a look.

    1. I know, you are so kind thank you I feel honoured. Bet you struggled to find a decent quality photo of me, they tend to be shocking.
